En  2015,  lors  des  Chicago  Music  Awards,  Alioune  Guissé  reçoit  le  prix  du  « Best  African  entertainer ».  Depuis,  il  sillonne  le  Sénégal  et  le  Canada  participant  à  de  nombreux  concerts.  Il  produit  aussi  ses  propres  événements  culturels  en  partenariat  avec  Production  Québégalais.  Partenariat  qui  mènera  en  2017  à  l’enregistrement  et  au  lancement  prochain  d’un  nouvel  album  solo  très  attendu  du  public.  Groupe  basé  au  Québec  –  Musiciens:  Diely  Mori  Tounkara,  Carlo  Berri,  Fa  Cissoko,  Sylvain

Born  in  Dakar,  Senegal  in  1075,  the  author,  composer,  guitarist  and  singer.  Alioune  Guissé  nicknamed  the  "Prince  of  Yela  music",  had  a  taste  for  music  from  an  early  age.  He  distinguished  himself  at  the  age  of  17  by  crossing  his  two  culturalheritages,  Foutanké  (Peul)  and  Wolof,  developing  an  original  Afro-folk,  a  fusion  of  Pulaar  music  (yela),  mbalax,  hip-hop  and  reggae  using  guitars,  per-cussion  (sabar,  djembe,  calabash)  and  voices.  Alioune  is  proud  of  his  Fulani  and  Wolof  heritage  and  sings  in  his  native  languages  of  Wolof  and  Pulaar.
