About the Event

Acclaimed jazz singer songwriter Ori Dagan and guitarist extraordinaire Nathan Hiltz are two of the busiest musicians on Toronto's jazz club scene. For this special hour of requests, they will play standards, favourites and surprises live from the Lula Lounge stage.

Ori Dagan

Award-winning jazz singer-songwriter Ori Dagan’s recording debut “S’Cat Got My Tongue” established him as a musical adventurer within the standard jazz landscape. His sophomore album “Less Than Three <3" included fresh takes on Elton John, Elvis Presley, Madonna and Frank Sinatra, as well as his original "Googleable," a 21st century love song to a search engine. He is also known for his 2016 jazz anthem for the rhythmically challenged, "Clap on the 2 and the 4." On Dagan's new album "Nathaniel" he pays tribute to Nat King Cole with 5 originals, a handful of unearthed gems and unique arrangements of "Nature Boy," "Darling Je Vous Aime Beaucoup" and "Unforgettable."
