WHAT WAS SO SCANDALOUS ABOUT THE RITE OF SPRING?
Premiered in 1913 at the posh Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, The Rite of Spring sparked the most famous scandal in the history of dance. This talk will examine what happened on the night of May 29th and why it happened at all.
