Jack

There is a poplar tree in the Nevada desert whose branches are hung with shoes. Alexandra, after leaving Northern Ontario, has already travelled thousands of kilometres on a trip across America that will lead her to this shoe tree that marks the passage of travellers by transforming their shoes into fragments of eternity.
