Pourquoi avons-nous choisi ce film ?
A l'heure où une certaine interprétation très carrée de la masculinité semble vouloir refaire surface partout dans le monde, Le grand bain s'impose comme un film bienveillant ! D'abord un drame infiltré d'humour, puis une comédie imprégnée de moments poignants, le film de Gilles Lellouche se place parfois carrément du côté de l'absurde sans perdre ses repères émotionnels. Le film qui a tant fait parlé de lui à sa sortie n'a de cesse de nous faire rire, pleurer, puis encore rire, puis... Bref vous l’avez compris : c’est un film qui vous fera du bien !

Synopsis :
C’est dans les couloirs de leur piscine municipale que Bertrand, Marcus, Simon, Laurent, Thierry et les autres s’entraînent sous l’autorité toute relative de Delphine, ancienne gloire des bassins. Ensemble, ils se sentent libres et utiles. Ils vont mettre toute leur énergie dans une discipline jusque-là propriété de la gent féminine : la natation synchronisée. Alors, oui c’est une idée plutôt bizarre, mais ce défi leur permettra de trouver un sens à leur vie...

Both a drama infiltrated with humour, and a comedy imbued with poignant moments, Sink or Swim sometimes looks squarely at the side of the absurd without losing its emotional bearings. The now very famous movie is constantly making us laugh, and cry, and laugh again, and... In a nutshell, it's a movie you should see!

Synopsis:
It is in the corridors of their municipal swimming pool that Bertrand, Marcus, Simon, Laurent, Thierry and the others train under the relative authority of Delphine, former glory of the basins. Together, they feel free and helpful. They will put all their energy into a discipline previously owned by women: synchronized swimming. So, yes it's a weird idea, but this challenge will allow them to find meaning in their lives...
